                                         JOHN STEPHEN TO SPEAK AT
                            MERRIMACK REPUBLICAN TOWN COMMITTEE

                              Candidate for US Representative in the 1st Congressional District









 (Merrimack, NH) – John Stephen, a candidate for the US Representative 1st Congressional District, will speak at the Merrimack Republican
Town Committee’s dinner meeting on October 10th, 7:00 pm, $30, Florence’s Restaurant, in Merrimack, NH.  All registered Republicans are

 John Stephen is Manchester native, a UNH graduate, and graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate degree from the Detroit College of Law,
a part of Michigan State University.  He has been a Law Clerk for US Federal District Court Judge Martin F. Loughlin, an Assistant Hillsborough
County Attorney, and an Assistant Attorney General with the NH Department of Justice.  Appointed as Assistant Commissioner of the
Department of Safety by Governor Jeanne Shaheen, and re-appointed by Governor Craig Benson, he was directly responsible for the Division of
Fire Safety & Emergency Management, including the E-911 Bureau.
 Mr. Stephen was appointed by Gov. Benson as Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services and served from October 2004
to August 2007.  Charged with ensuring the health and well being of New Hampshire's residents, with particular emphasis on the most vulnerable
citizens, his administrative responsibility included Medicaid, elder services, financial assistance, mental health, disabilities, drug and alcohol, public
health, child support, juvenile justice services and child protective services. “My three goals upon becoming commissioner were to return
maximum value to the citizens and taxpayers of New Hampshire, to change our approach to being proactive and prevention-focused and to bring
transparency and openness to the department,” Stephen wrote. “Today, I can say with confidence that we have met each of these goals with
tremendous success.”
 Commissioner Stephen has lectured nationally on various legal and homeland security-related topics, authored a number of books, and is married
with two children.

                                       JEB BRADLEY TO SPEAK
                  AT MERRIMACK REPUBLICAN TOWN COMMITTEE

             Candidate for US House of Representatives in the 1st Congressional District








  (Merrimack, NH) – Jeb Bradley, a candidate for the US House of Representatives 1st Congressional District, will speak at the MRTC Dinner
Meeting on January 21, 2008, 6:30pm at the Silver Maple Restaurant, DW Hwy, in Merrimack.   All registered Republicans are cordially invited to

  Jeb Bradley was elected to serve New Hampshire’s First District first in 2002, and again in 2004.  As a member of the Armed Services
Committee, he worked with delegations, governors and communities, to succeed in removing the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard from the Defense
Department’s Base Closure List.  As a member of the Budget Committee, he offered the amendment incorporated into the final bill that increased
veterans’ healthcare funding by $795 million in fiscal year 2007 and by $3.9 billion over the next several years.  Con. Bradley, a former small
business owner himself, supported the “Jobs and Growth Tax Reconciliation Act of 2003” which lowered the tax burden for 112,000 small
businesses in New Hampshire.
  As a member of Congress, Bradley has been widely recognized for his accomplishments. He has been honored for his work on veterans’ issues
by the N.H. Veterans of Foreign Wars and the N.H. Disabled American Veterans in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Bradley was also named a “Hero
of the Taxpayer” in 2004 by Americans for Tax Reform, received the “Spirit of Enterprise” Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce two
years in a row, and has been recognized for his work in improving health care with the “Superhero Award,” given by the National Association of
Community Health Centers.
  Prior to becoming a Member of Congress, Bradley served in the New Hampshire State Legislature for 12 years, where he chaired the Science,
Technology and Energy Committee, as well as the Joint Committee o n Ethics.
  This year, Bradley will celebrate 27 years of marriage to wife Barbara, with whom he has four children. When spending time at home in
Wolfeboro, Bradley enjoys skiing and snowboarding. In addition, Bradley is an avid rock climber, and has ascended all of New Hampshire’s 48
4,000-foot peaks. He became a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club’s White Mountain Four Thousand Footer Club in the fall of 2004.

             at Merrimack Republican Town Committee Meeting











(Merrimack, NH) -The Merrimack Republican Town Committee will hold their August Dinner/Speaker Meeting on Monday,

Background and Military Career:
Sen. Joseph D. Kenney, a Republican from Wakefield, is in his fourteenth year in the legislature. He beat well-known Conway
radio talk host and long-time Democratic activist George Cleveland, the Grandson of President Grover Cleveland to win his
third term in the Senate this past fall. While a lieutenant colonel in the Marine reserves, active duty, the senator was called up
to serve in Iraq during his term last year. He was known to perform constituent service work from his laptop while in Iraq.
The senator worked his way up from the rank of private to lieutenant colonel, has been a member of the U.S. Marine Corps
since 1980, and today serves as a special projects officer. During his career, Joe has also been a public assistance officer, a
teacher, and a summer youth director.

Joe Kenney grew up in a small business family.  He was first elected to the New Hampshire Senate in November 2002.
Previously, he served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives for four terms. Kenney formerly served

Chairman of Transportation, 2002-2004
Chairman of Executive, Department and Administration Committee, 2004-2006
Health and Human Services Committee (six years)

Kenney currently serves on the Executive Departments and Administration Committee, and the Health and Human Services
Committee.
The senator resides in Wakefield and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he earned a bachelor's degree

He is married with two children and a 42-year resident of Wakefield.
